SECURITY OF LIVES AND PROPERTY VERY DEAR TO TPI, MANAGEMENT

The Acting Rector of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Dr Taiwo Abideen Lasisi has said that the security of the lives of students, visitors and property within The Polytechnic, Ibadan (TPI) are very dear to the Management of the Institution.

Dr Lasisi stated this while receiving 500 tally for gate passes donated to the Institution by the Muslim Cooperative Society of TPI at the Board of Studies Chamber as part of the Society’s support for the security apparatus of the Institution.

Dr Lasisi noted that the donation would go a long way in monitoring vehicular movement within the institution.

In his comment, the Acting Registrar of the Institution, Mr Joseph Adewunmi Ogunjimi, observed that the contribution will assist in the effort of re-engineering the security situation within the Institution.

Earlier, the President of the Muslim Cooperative Society, Engr. Dauda Akinbola Oladosu disclosed that it was a decision of the society that token contribution will be made at intervals to support the development of TPI.

The Deputy Rector of the Institution, Mrs Olaide Salawu, and Mr. David Olubukola Taiwo was among the Institution’s senior officers who attended the presentation programme.
