Oladoja, Sule Akande was born on 7th January, 1958 at Ile Alawoye, Nalende, Ibadan. He was enrolled into Holy Trinity Primary School (now Lemu L.E.A) School, Kano informally in 1967 and formally in 1969 when his right hand was able to touch his left ear. His primary education spanned between 1967 and 1976 because of family movements i.e. Holy Trinity Primary School, Kano 1967-1973, All Saints Primary School (now Saidu LEA) Samaru Zaria 1974-1975 and concluded finally at I.C.C. Primary School, Beiyerunka in Ibadan 1976 where he obtained First School Leaving Certificate with Grade A.
He thereafter enrolled into Niji Commercial Institute Beere, Ibadan between 1976-1978 and got RSA Stage 1 in Typewriting. This qualified him as a typist on month to month basis with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from where he joined the United Bank for Africa Plc in 1981 as a Typist. Undeterred by his humble academic background, he continued through home study and extra-mural classes to pursue GCE O’Level which qualified him as a student member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria where he completed the professional foundation examination in 1994. He thereafter proceeded to Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke between 1995 and 1998 where he bagged HND Banking and Finance in December 1998.
He further proceeded to the prestigious premier University of Ibadan from where he obtained a Master of Science in Banking and Finance in March 2015. Mr. Oladoja is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Nigeria. He is happily married to Mrs. Korede Adewumi Oladoja and blessed with children.
A man of varied academic and professional experience, he was an administrator, a banker, a lecturer/resource person in finance and accounting courses.
He is currently a Chief Accountant with Bursary Department, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
