Alhaji Akinyemi Rafiu Bolatito had his Primary Education from Oton Primary School Sapele, Delta State, his Secondary Education from the Community Grammar School Oluyoro Ibadan and Post-Secondary Education from St Andrew College of Education (Now Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (ed) Degree in 2005 from University of Ado Ekiti (now Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti)
Alhaji Akinyemi’s work experience started as a Teacher in the Prospect School of Secretarial Studies and Community Grammar School – teaching English Language and English Literature1992-1994 and 1994-1996; and also, NTI DLS Program Apata Ibadan in 2000 – 2004 teaching on the Sandwich Center, Apata, Ibadan in 2004-2009. He had served since 2000 to date as Chief Executive Officer at Princely Multi Ventures, Ibadan.
He is a distinguished veteran Politician of Oyo State of Nigeria. He began his political career as a Student Coordinator in 1991 with the Prof Wande Abimbola Campaign Organisation. He was a Founding Member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in 1998 and also the Progressive Youth Forum (PYF) in 1998. He became the State Secretary of the Progressive Forum (now PAQ) in 2010. He was Member and later Chairman of the Oyo State Education Monitoring Committee, Ibadan Less City Zone 2000 – 2003.
He rose to the Chairmanship of AD Congress Committee Ogbomoso South Local Government in 2001. He was a delegate to the AD National Convention, Abuja, 2001 and became the Chief of Staff, Oluyole Federal Constituency Office 2002-2003. He was the Returning Officer for the House of Assembly Primaries, Ibadan South West 1 in 2006; and Returning Officer as follows – Ogbomoso North, South, Oriire Federal Constituency 2006; Oyo North Senatorial District Primaries 2006; Ibadan North Federal Constituency Primaries (Rerun) 2006; Founding Member and State Administrative Secretary, ACCORD PARTY Oyo State 2010-2017;
He decamped to PDP in December 2017 and became a Member of the PDP National Convention Planning Committee and the PDP Election Committee, Ibarapa East State Constituency in 2018. He was appointed as the Director General (DG) Bisi Ilaka Senatorial Campaign 2019 and Aspirant, Oluyole Federal Constituency, 2019
