The Chairman, Governing Council, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Professor Kunle Akinyemi, and the Management team of the Institution on Thursday joined other Nigerians to celebrate the first lady of Oyo State, her Excellency, Mrs Olufunke Tamunominini Makinde on her 50th birthday celebration.
The Birthday witnessed a church service at the St. Peter’s Church Aremo, Ibadan which was attended by the former Oyo State Governor and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, top government functionaries, families, friends and important personalities from far and near.
The Chairman of The Polytechnic, Ibadan Governing Council, Professor Kunle Akinyemi led The Polytechnic, Ibadan team made up of the Deputy Rector, Mrs. Olubunmi Abiodun Olubamiwa, The Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale, The Bursar, Mr Olawole Ojetola and the Public Relations Officer, Mr Soladoye Adewole.
The wife of the Governor later went to the Cheshire Home for the Physically Challenged along Sango/Polytechnic road to celebrate her birthday with the Physically Challenged.
